Moving Forward With KISQALI

There are some tests that your doctor will need to conduct before you can start taking KISQALI. These tests make sure KISQALI is an appropriate treatment for you. Once you're taking KISQALI, you may be required to have some routine tests so your doctor can monitor how your body is responding to the medication.

Before you start treatment

  • Heart monitoring. Your doctor will perform an electrocardiogram (ECG). This test is quick and painless and monitors the electrical activity of the heart over time. An ECG can show if there are abnormal conditions and changes in the way electric currents pass through the heart

  • Blood monitoring. Blood tests can be used to check your overall health and help your doctor decide if KISQALI is right for you. Some specific tests include electrolyte panels, complete blood counts, and liver function tests

Once you're on treatment

  • Your doctor will conduct additional ECG tests during the first 2 weeks of treatment as part of normal monitoring*

  • You will continue to have your blood monitored from time to time during the first 6 months of treatment*

  • Most scheduled testing occurs within the first 2 treatment cycles. There is no testing scheduled beyond the 6th treatment cycle
