What Is the Risk of My Cancer Coming Back?
.
Even after surgery and hormone therapy, there is still a chance that early breast cancer (eBC) can come back in the future. If your cancer does come back, it may not return in the breast. It may return in other parts of the body.
Hormone therapy alone may not be enough to keep cancer from coming back
*The risk of cancer coming back is based on results from clinical trials of people with hormone receptor-positive (HR+), human epidermal growth factor receptor 2-negative (HER2-) eBC who took hormone therapy.
